Chessington has been hard at work over the past few weeks renewing an old effect in the Rattlesnake queue line. When the ride was installed back in 1998 the effect of a man climbing up and down a rope was installed. For the past few years this effect has been broken and in need of some tender loving care..
The climbing man effect was removed at the start of 2018 season however it would appear that the park removed it to actually fix it. Its currently unknown if this is the original body but if so its been given a fresh paint job and some new clothes. It would appear that all of the mechanics for effect have been replaced.
We’re yet to see the effect working in person but its nice to see the park paying attention to small details like this.
