Saturday 15th January 2022

January marks the halfway point of the closed season and with Thorpe Park due to reopen on Friday 25th March, work is underway to prepare the park for the 2022 theme park season. Looking across the lake and a walk down Monks Walk, the island remains quiet on a Saturday evening.

Thorpe Park look to be expanding their events line up in 2022! Today the park put out a questionnaire testing a concept for a new event.

The public consultation website for the rollercoaster replacing Old Town is now online! Codenamed Project Exodus this huge new rollercoaster will transform the parks Skyline if permission is granted.

Thursday 9th December 2021

Thorpe Park has shown off plans for its new rollercoaster today at the public consultation event. Located in Old Town the new rollercoaster will replace Loggers Leap, Rocky Express and two children's rides. 

Friday 3rd December 2021

Thorpe Park has updated their website with opening times of the 2022 theme park season including a glimpse at when certain events might be running! Opening times vary throughout the season with the latest time being 7 pm on most Saturdays.

Thorpe Park has reached out to local residents with a save the date, advertising a public consultation for a brand new roller coaster!

During a Behind The Screams backstage tour at Thorpe Park, we noticed something big!  A section of Loggers Leap has been removed, along with part of the second lift hill!

The #ThorpePark photo-point sign, installed by Vortex earlier this year, has had a Fright Nights makeover! With this year celebrating 20 years of the event, we've seen the sign given a Halloween makeover, with logos of past and present mazes added to the letters.

Monday 11th October 2021

Fright Nights 2021 has begun and so begins the celebration of 20 years of fear! Special Fright Nights merchandise has been released with more expected over the next few weeks. So far there's a Trailers hoody and T-Shirt with some of the posters found inside the attraction. 

Sunday 3rd October 2021

Fright Nights 2021 begins in just 3 days time and we couldn't be more excited! Over the past few weeks, we've been following the construction of all things spooky around the resort and with only a few days left, almost everything appears to be ready for guests to be spooked!
