Roaming around the park and the Otokberfest event are some Oktoberfest actors, complete with german outfits and very authentic german accents and jokes to keep you laughing throughout the day. We even meet some German models and songwriters during our visits!
The interactions between actors and guests is amazing, the number of times we saw actors going down to children's level and running around and playing with them was amazing. Yes, Oktoberfest is aimed at adults but it's great to see families experiencing it all together.
Of course, none of this event would be possible without the help of some friendly and local germans to keep up the atmosphere. We managed to talk to a few of the locals during our visit to the event and were pleasantly surprised at their interactions with guests and how well they knew the songs and dances. It's almost like they were picked up from Munich and sent to The Dock Yard!
